What Research Is Exploring
Cilantro essential oil has been studied in laboratory models for its chemistry and biological activity, including research on microbes and cultured human skin cells. However, these are laboratory findings—not evidence that using Cilantro Essential Oil treats infection, inflammation, wounds, or another medical condition in people. Reviews of Coriandrum sativum also note that human clinical evaluation remains scarce. This is an area where the laboratory science is interesting, but direct human clinical research still needs to catch up.
